French beauty brand Lancome has debuted the new marketing campaign for its Idole fragrance. The campaign stars Lancome Global Brand Ambassador Zendaya and, according to Lancome Global Brand President, Francoise Lehmann, the fragrance is a response to changing perspectives on femininity and a representation of a new kind of success.

“Lancome imagines its new great fragrance in the wake of this contemporary femininity. Lancome is pursuing its dream of celebrating women and accompanying them on their journey to happiness.”

American actress, singer and fashion authority Zendaya is a role model for her generation, thanks to her involvement with charitable causes and the many ways in which she uses her voice to promote education and positivity.

Aimed at the younger consumer, “Idole is the perfume of this conquering femininity.”

The campaign imagery was shot by fashion photographers Mert and Marcus and reflects the golden blush colour palette of the Idole bottle and the campaign film was directed by Manu Cossu.
